Artist Deathmatch 2.0: Who Wants to Win 30 Dollars?

The Summer of the Illumi-Nerdi: The Artist Deathmatch 2.0!

Last night, we planned for a huge celebration. Originally, we posted a video to announce that our blog hit 30,000 views in 7 months But the video failed to work. Anyways, thank you everyone for all of your support and we hope you are ready for the Summer of the Illumi-Nerdi. 

Also, we are announcing that we are officially taking submissions for our Artist Deathmatch 2.0.  Our first champion, Steven 'Sash' Scott, will not be participating. He stated, "unfortunately- in part because of the first Deathmatch" and because of his really awesome skills, he is too busy working on projects. For the new Artist Deathmatch, we decided to make a few changes.

1. We are no longer using everyone's favorite superheroes and super villains. 

2. Besides an interview and advertising of your art, the winner will receive $30 dollars. That is 1 dollar for every thousand view we have received.

3. The artists will be designing characters created by The Illumi-Nerdi. The Artist Deathmatch 2.0 will consist of five rounds. We will provide the artist with 2-3 characters and a scenario. We will give each artist a full description and profile of the characters (physical attributes and personality traits) so that he/she can get a comprehensive understanding of who each individual is. Each character is one piece of a larger picture, which will be created by the artists in the final round. 


The first round entries will be due in two weeks, June 12, at 10:00 PM EST. We will announce the first round details by June 6, so please get back to us as soon as possible.
